The Problem

You own a restoration business. Not a bank for the carriers.

Slow supplements cost you time, money, and the next job.

One estimator, multiple supplements.

Your estimator was on the job site. They know what's there. The problem is production runs all day. Phone keeps ringing. The supplement queue gets pushed to tonight. Files written cold have line items the carrier cuts. Not because your estimator is unqualified. Because no one person can run jobs and write supplements at the same speed.

Every stalled file costs you money.

Payroll went out Friday. The supply house wants their net 30. Equipment's been on rent since day one. Until the supplement is approved and the check clears, you're financing that job. The carrier isn't slow by accident. Every day they sit on it is a day they earn the float instead of you. Defendable supplements approved on the first pass close that gap. That's not a billing improvement. That's cash flow.

The next job is waiting on this one.

Production wraps but the file stays open. Your PM is still answering carrier emails. Your estimator is still writing the response to the last denial. When the next loss comes in, you take it and stretch the team thinner. The bottleneck isn't leads. It's how many open files your team can carry at once. Closing files faster is the most effective capacity you can buy.

How It Works

Four Steps from Supplement Submitted to Settlement Approved.

Your team stays on task.

Send Your File

Carrier estimate, your scope additions, photos, moisture readings, and any documentation your crew gathered. Upload via our portal.

We Write the Supplement

Line-by-line scrub of the carrier estimate. Xactimate-format supplement with supporting evidence packet. Code upgrades and missed line items included.

Quality Review

Every file is reviewed for accuracy and code compliance by an experienced tradesman/scope writer before delivery.

Delivered to You

You receive the complete supplement packet. You send it to the carrier. The carrier approves a new settlement. Your file only goes to you, never the carrier. You keep the adjuster relationship and the reputation.

Quick Answers

What restoration contractors ask most.

Do you contact my carrier, adjuster, or homeowner?

No. Never. DCS delivers every file to the contractor. We do not contact carriers, adjusters, or homeowners under any circumstance. You keep the relationship.

How fast is turnaround?

48 to 72 hours from receipt of a complete file. If we need clarification, the clock pauses. Contractors have 48 hours to respond before the file loses queue position. During storm season or volume spikes, turnaround can extend.

How does the volume discount work?

Cumulative files sent in a calendar year unlock tiered discounts at 25, 75, and 150 files. Annual January 1 review resets to actual prior-year file volume. Discount applies going forward from the milestone hit.

What about ITEL reports?

Contractor responsibility. You order the ITEL, you supply the sample. DCS does not coordinate ITEL reports.

What about mold?

DCS will not write a mold scope without a third-party IEP (Indoor Environmental Professional) protocol. No exceptions. This protects you and the homeowner.

Can I rush a file mid-week?

Yes. Rush is +$75 on any file — moves it to priority queue with same-day start on complete submissions. Check the rush box in the pricing calculator to see your total.
